Your files

When you drop a file here, it is read by code running in your browser tab. It is not sent to a server, not stored, and not retained after you close the page. That is a property of how the tool is built rather than a promise about how it is operated.

Your tracklist

The tracklist is produced in the same tab. Copying it puts it on your clipboard; downloading it writes a file to your own machine. Neither passes through this site.

Accounts

There are none. Nothing here asks you to sign in, and no tracklist you make is tied to a person.

Analytics

Two things run here. Google Analytics counts visits: which pages you open, roughly which country you are in, and what browser and device you are on, with a cookie so that a second visit is recognised as the same browser. Hotjar records anonymous sessions — where the pointer moves, what gets clicked, how far the page is scrolled — so that it is possible to see where this tool trips people up. Each sends that information to its own company, handled under their privacy policies.

Neither sees your files. What you drop in is read in your own browser and is never sent anywhere. The parts of the page that show your own work — the file name, the list of markers, and the finished tracklist — are explicitly masked before a recording leaves your browser, so a session shows the shape of the page and what was clicked, never the mix you were working on.

Where consent is required by law, nothing is loaded until you have been asked and have agreed — decline and the analytics is never fetched at all. Everywhere else you can stop it with any content blocker. Every part of the tool works exactly the same either way.
